The last weekly Bible studies will also be this week. Here are some statistics from this year’s weekly Bible studies for your praise list: - 12 Bible studies, covering Mark 8:1 - Mark 10:31, were written - over 2,700 copies of those notes were distributed to members of all three branches of Idaho government and their staffers - 40 Bible studies were conducted for legislators, staffers and lobbyists - 37 different men and women attended at least one Bible study, including 8 pastors and lay ministry leaders in attendance at the 2008 Pastors’ Day at the Capitol As we shift into off-session ministry mode, here are some items to add to your prayer list: - safety in travel around Idaho to minister to legislators in their home districts - almost 1/3 of our current legislators (34, to be exact) are running unopposed, so they need our prayers beginning now for the next two years (To view the list of registered candidates to add them to your prayer list, click here.) - planning for the 2008 Election Eve Dinner & Prayer Vigil on November 3, 2008 May the Lord bless you as you bless others through your prayers and financial support. " Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen." - EPHESIANS 3:20-21 For more information about Capitol Ministries or to subscribe to our ministry updates, please visit our web site at www.capmin.org
